Best Flowers for a Spring Wedding

POSTED ON June 24, 2014

Despite the chilly temperatures, spring flowers are on their way. And if you’re a bride- to- be, now is the time to consider the kind of bouquet you may want for your special day. To help in the decision-making process we’ve highlighted some of our favorite spring flowers and coupled them together for combinations you’re sure to love!

Peonies and White Roses

For a bouquet that is feminine and full, try pairing these lush pink beauties with large white roses. The combination of pale hues will look clean, classic and beautiful.  This arrangement is especially perfect if you want a bouquet that maintains a dome shape.

Irises and Lilies

If you prefer a spray shaped bouquet that is far less structured, consider combining lilies and irises. With longer stems you can create high-energy texture and a splash of vibrant color. This is a great choice if you are working with brighter hues like purple, peach, orange or yellow. However, the traditional white lily is also always an incredible option.

Orchids and Gardenias

For a cascading arrangement that screams drama, orchids and gardenias are definitely the way to go. An all white bouquet allows you the freedom to play with lots of texture, without going overboard.

What are some of your favorite spring arrangements?
